PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE FUTURE
Margo Day, Microsoft, vice president for US education, presented information on how Microsoft can partner
with the community and technical college system to help prepare students for the future. She described how
the Microsoft IT Academy (ITA) program provides industry-leading technology skills to help bridge the skills gap.
With the ITA program, academic institutions and their educators, students, and staff get digital curriculum and
certifications for fundamental technology skills – as well as courses critical for students to be successful in
today’s technologically evolving work – all at significantly reduced pricing.
