APPLYING FOR A POSITION AS AN EMPLOYEE Please read the directions below before attempting to apply for a position as an employee. If you are applying for the first time in the FastTrack Application System, go to www.stlucieschools.org, and click on the Employee link. Click on “Skyward Employee Access” from the menu on the left . Login: Use your district network ID as outlined below: ‐ First letter of your first name (Example: John = j) ‐ First two letters of your last name (Example: Smith = sm) ‐ Two digit birth month (Example: January = 01 ‐ Two digit birth day (Example: 5th = 05 Password: Use your unique network password *Note: If you have difficulty with your login/password on this screen you will need to contact the ITS department at 772‐429‐HELP (4357) for assistance. Make sure to tell them you are having login issues with employee access to Skyward. Click on the pulldown arrow to click on “Employee Access”. Click the “FastTrack Open Positions” tab 1. Click in the box to the left of the position(s), assignment(s) and Location(s) of interest to you. 2. If you have never applied using FastTrack, you will need to click “Search for Posted Positions.” *NOTE: If you have previously registered in FastTrack, you will need to click the “Log In” button to continue. 1. Click in the box to the left of each vacancy posting you wish to apply for. 2. To view specific details regarding your selection(s), highlight the position you wish to view the details for then click on the “View Details of Highlighted Position” button on the right. 3. To begin completing the sections of the application for the position(s) you have selected in this view, click on the “Apply for Selected Position(s) button. If you have previously registered in the FastTrack application system, you MUST to use the same user name and password you created for your original application to log in as an “Existing User”. (If you have forgotten your user name/password please contact Human Resources at 772‐429‐7500 or Employment@stlucieshools.org.) If you have never registered in the FastTrack application system, you will need to click in the box “I Would Like To Create a New Profile”. Once you have clicked in the box to create a new profile, your employee data should populate for the email, first name, and last name fields. It is recommended that you create a unique user name and password for your application. This should not be the same as your district network password. Using FastTrack for the first time as an employee you will need to click in the box “I Would Like To Create a New Profile”. Your district email address and your name will appear in the boxes below. You will need to create a user name and password unique to you to be used for your FastTrack application(s). You will also be required to input your social security number for verification purposes. Once you have clicked the button to apply for selected positions, you will see the “Application Dashboard” page showing the sections of the application you will be required to complete prior to submitting your application including the attachments section. When viewing your profile sections you will find multiple tabs as shown below. If your profile is showing applications under the “Open” tab, you are currently working on the sections of the application. If your application is under the “Processing” tab, Human Resources is reviewing/verifying your application. If your application is under the “Closed” tab, the position has been filled. When logging back into your application to complete the incomplete sections you will need to click on “Edit” button. Once all sections are completed including all the required attachments, you will have access to submit your application by clicking the “Submit to HR” button. You must submit your application to HR to be considered for the positions for which you have applied. ‐ Attachments and references are not required when applying as a current employee for the following positions: Instructional Positions Professional Support Staff All Summer School ‐ When applying for an administrative position you must go through main district web page to select the administrative position to apply to. You will be required to complete all required sections and attachments of the vacancy posting before submitting it to HR. If certification documents are required and you do not have a copy, you will need to contact Human Resources at 772‐429‐7500 or Employment@stlucieschools.org to request assistance with attaching documents in your current paper file to your on‐line application.
