WABERS Snapshot Data Dictionary Updated: 12.16.14 The Washington Adult Basic Education Reporting System (WABERS+) is an on-line application used to facilitate the data collection and reporting of students in Basic Education for Adults Programs. Community Based Organizations and community and technical colleges in the State of Washington that provide adult education services are required to report data at least quarterly using WABERS+. The data elements included in the current version of WABERS+ meet all federal and state reporting requirements. Future funding decisions will be based on each basic skills provider’s performance, calculated using data in WABERS+. This information is also used for research, planning and the development of new programs. In addition, WABERS+ data supports the progress of students and their success in the workplace and other educational areas. Each quarter, a snapshot is taken of the data in WABERS+. This information is then made available to the CBOs and colleges. This data dictionary is meant to assist users in identifying and using the data and reports available in this database. If you have question regarding the WABERS Database, please contact Lou Sager at: lsager@sbctc.edu 360.704.4321 WABERS Snapshot Data Dictionary Table of Contents Tables .....................................................................................................3 tblCourses ....................................................................................................................3 tblCourseEnrollments ................................................................................................4 tblEntryStatus..............................................................................................................5 tblCohorts ....................................................................................................................5 tblHours .......................................................................................................................7 tblPersonnel .................................................................................................................8 tblSpecialPrograms...................................................................................................11 tblSpecialProgramsDetail ........................................................................................12 tblStudent ..................................................................................................................13 tblTesting ...................................................................................................................18 tlkpAgeGroupings....................................................................................................19 tlkpEntryStatus .........................................................................................................20 tlkpEthnicity ..............................................................................................................20 tlkpLevelOfSchooling ..............................................................................................20 tlkpMajorProgram ....................................................................................................21 tlkpOrganization ......................................................................................................21 tlkpProgramLevel .....................................................................................................23 tlkpReportData .........................................................................................................24 tlkpRural ....................................................................................................................25 tlkpSpecialPrograms ................................................................................................26 tlkpSpecialProgramsDetail ......................................................................................26 tlkpTypeOfSchooling ...............................................................................................28 Queries .................................................................................................29 Reports .................................................................................................30 Data Reporting/Matching Deadlines ..............................................31 2 of 31 WABERS Snapshot Data Dictionary tblCourses One record per Course, OrgCode, for each Quarter (QUARTERCODE) and ProgramLevelCode COURSE_ID (PK) COURSE ORG CODE QUARTER CODE PROGRAM LEVEL CODE Data Type: Number Size: Long Integer Definition: Data Type: Text Size: 15 Definition: Course identification.
