Dr. Reinold Mittag Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board Member After completing secondary school and military service, Dr. Reinold Mittag started his studies in jurisprudence at the University of Bielefeld in 1977. In 1984, Dr. Reinold Mittag finished his education as an assessor and then began doctoral studies in jurisprudence. After completing his doctorate, he worked as a lawyer and a specialist lawyer in labor law. In 1986, Dr. Reinold Mittag started to work for the German Trade Union Federation (DGB), where he assumed legal representation responsibilities in the labor courts in Muenster and Bielefeld, in the Regional Labor Court in Hamm, and in the Federal Labor Court in Erfurt. In 2010, he became the trade union secretary for the administrative office of the board of directors at IG Metall in Frankfurt. Dr. Reinold Mittag has been working at IG Metal in the areas of company constitution and co-determination policy since 2013. In addition to his role as a member of the Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board since 2014, Dr. Reinold Mittag is also a member of the Association Committee of the German Association of Labor Courts. On the Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board, he is part of the Audit Committee.
