The Advanced Console Server 6000 provides secure-switched console access to network devices such as servers, routers and switches in the event the network is down or devices become unresponsive. Solution Overview In the event that a device managed by the Advanced Console Server 6000 and integrated PDU becomes inaccessible or unresponsive, pressing CRTL + P from within the console server interface window brings up the Power Management Utility interface window. Further integration with Avocent® DSView™ management software and Avocent® Rack Power Manager provides a “single-pane-of-glass” management of devices globally across the enterprise data center. Rack Power Manager allows the data center managers to access power utilization data with granularity down to the outlet level.
