Hit and Run
I have to go to the hospital with the emergency crew, so please listen to what I want you to tell
the police. Just about 20 minutes ago a white Dodge pickup truck came around the corner of
Spruce Street. The driver was a man with white hair, and he was smoking a cigarette. A blue Ford
with a dented rear door was going north on Main Street. The driver was a woman wearing
sunglasses, and there were two children in car seats in the back of the car. A boy on a green 10speed bicycle was driving beside the Ford at first, but then he gave a hand signal and cut in
front of the Ford. The Dodge pickup truck hit both the Ford car and the boy on the bicycle.
We are taking one of the children and the boy to the hospital.
