It’s finally Friday. One moment it seems like it took its sweet time getting here, then the next it seems
like the week has barely begun. Does that mean I’m having fun? (You know, the whole “time flies”
thing.)
It’s been a week of highs and lows and lots of in-betweens. A week of transition and change. The next
few months should be awfully interesting. I just hope I survive them…
Today is “Meet Your Neighbor” here in our building. I have no idea what prompted this little celebration,
but the University Counsel’s office is providing cider and doughnuts for the occasion. It’s likely this won’t
become an annual event.
I’ve got a lengthy list of things I want to do this weekend and realize I should have started yesterday if I
wanted any hope of getting them all done. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this beautiful weather
we’ve been having will hold for a couple more days. I’d be really bummed if it all turns sour tomorrow
morning.
