Cathy Mock Corporate Director, Supplier Diversity Cardinal Health Cathy Mock serves as corporate director of supplier diversity for Cardinal Health. She is responsible for leading the company’s national supplier diversity initiatives, which are designed to enhance its purchasing activities and long-term relationships with small, minority-, veteran- and women-owned businesses. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Mock served as president of the South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC), an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), an organization which offers programs and services that help member organizations identify and build relationships with minority-owned businesses. Prior to her tenure at SCOMSDC, Mock gained more than a decade of first-hand experience in the minority-owned business arena, serving as President/CEO of Mock Printing and Business Services dba/The Ink Well Printing Company. A former high school teacher, coach and real estate agent, Mock also served for 10 years as an administrator for the state of Ohio, most recently as assistant director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Mock earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in public administration from Northeastern University in Boston. She has also served on the SBC Consumer Advisory Panel, the Governor’s Minority Business Council, and the United Way of Central Ohio’s Minority Business Committee. Mock is on the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance (HSDA), the South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council and the Steering Committee for Cardinal Health’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN). She is a member of the Healthcare Industry Group for the NMSDC, N.A.A.C.P., The Columbus Urban League, Key Club of United Way of Central Ohio, Tabernacle Baptist Church and a life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
