This release contains the following enhancements:

Support for the Liebert ® eXL UPS has been added.

Embedded LIFE TM Technology support for all iCOM V4 Thermal Management equipment has been
completed, to improve Remote Service Delivery support.

Images for various Thermal Management devices have been updated for their home w ebpages.

Description
Shellshock vulnerability patches for the bash shell have been applied.
Certain bezel w eb pages w ould sometimes trigger Javascript errors w hen displaying
“unavailable” parametric data values from an APM, NXR, or APS device. This w ill no
longer trigger the Javascript error messages.
Some thermal management units added enumerated values to some existing status
register data points. These needed to be changed from status register values to input
register values to accommodate the 5 possible enumerated values they can have.
APS & APM Scaling issues for output pow er and KVA w ere incorrectly reported in w atts
and VA respectively. These points now report properly in KW and kVA.
Corrections to some pow er measurements w ere made to improve the efficiency of the
analysis of UPS data.
Enhancements have been made to allow better behavior of the IP Netw orking features
w hen connected to an isolated netw ork that does not have a gatew ay.

3. Update Instructions

The Unity cards may be updated to this firmware version using the web-based Firmware Upload feature.
Please refer to the Firmware Updates section of the Liebert IntelliSlot Unity Card User Manual (SL-52645).

4. Known Issues

Description
Device Settings
When temperature settings are made on some thermal devices, there may be
some „round-off‟ error of one tenth of a degree between what was requested and
what the device shows after the change. This is a known limitation of some
thermal device firmware versions and will be corrected in future versions of the
device controller firmware.
When selecting the Reset Event(s) buttons on the Summary webpage for some
devices, the user will be guided through an extra login and confirmation
sequence before the Reset request is successful.
There are some minor data point mapping errors for PeX and NXL equipment
which will be corrected in the next maintenance release.
