New bridge connections in the north and south of the campus core should be made a priority. New development should minimize re-grading. All building faces that are visible from a road, path or open space should be designed to add to the pedestrian environment. Developed areas should be clustered, and aim to maintain a walk through a natural area between clusters. Open Space Vegetation and habitat Preserve significant stands of trees. Maintain contiguous habitat corridors New designed open spaces should be consistent in scale and function with the successful existing examples on the campus.
