RE: Winter 2004 Enrollment
The total enrollment at the third-week census date for the winter 2004 quarter was 14,323, an increase of
661 students (4.8%) over last winter, and included 14,130 continuing, 96 new, 90 returning, and 7 visiting
students. The fall-winter-spring three-quarter average headcount for the 2003-04 academic year is
projected at 14,400 (14,370 student FTE). Including the students enrolled in the summer 2003 State
funded Education Masters Program – the total student FTE for the 2003-04 academic year is projected at
14,450.
This report includes a breakout of the numbers of students who were enrolled in off-campus programs
including the Education Abroad Program, Intercampus Graduate Exchange Program, UC Washington
D.C., and exchange programs with the Universities of New Hampshire and New Mexico.
