RE: Fall 2003 Enrollment
The total enrollment at the third-week census date for the fall 2003 quarter was 14,984, an increase of 862
students (6.1%) over last fall, and included 10,106 continuing, 4,680 new, 190 returning, and 8 visiting
students. The fall-winter-spring three-quarter average headcount for the 2003-04 academic year is
projected at 14,400 (14,404 student FTE). Including the students enrolled in the summer 2003 State
funded Education Masters Program – the total student FTE for the 2003-04 academic year is projected at
14,485.
This report includes a breakout of the numbers of students who were enrolled in off-campus programs
including the Education Abroad Program, Intercampus Graduate Exchange Program, UC Washington
D.C., and exchange programs with the Universities of New Hampshire and New Mexico.
