When Shannon spent
two weeks of her

took a class in Legal
Studies, and visited
New York State’s
Capitol Building and
Court of Appeals. But
Shannon is, in fact,
not a college student;
Shannon attended the
Summer Pre-College
program before she
even began her senior
year of high school.

think of a better way I could have
spent two weeks.”
