You will play your two games a night once a week. Most of the Varsity games will be played on Tuesday night But some games may be played on Thursday night depending on the number of teams in the Varsity league. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SITE CHANGE FOR THIS YEAR: Because of maintenance on Eastview H.S. gym, games will be played at APPLE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL (2 miles down the road). Games are two-20 minute running time halves. The clock will stop for timeouts and the final two minutes of the game. Overtime will be two minutes of stop time. 2. Bonus free throws will be shot on the 7th team foul of each half. 3. Teams get three-30 second time outs per game and the clock stops during timeouts. 4. Profanity or verbal abuse towards officials or other players is unacceptable. Technical fouls for fighting will result in ejection from the game and one or more game suspension from the league as determined by league management. 5. Individual will foul out on the 5th team foul. 6. Adults from Eastview will be working the tables and the clock. 7. Each team will be responsible for entering their team in the game book. 8. A ten-minute grace period will be given to teams and at the end of the grace period a forfeit will be given to team. 9. If You will not be able to attend game(s), let myself or Coach Gerber know at least 3-4 days before games. You need to be in contact with one of us ASAP! Each team will play two games each night. Games will be played on Tuesday night for Varsity but some games may have to be played on Thursday night Because of the number of teams. JV Teams will play on Thursday night. 2. Games will start promptly. Don’t be late. If you cannot field enough players on a particular game or for a particular day, you must call me as soon as you know this. There are teams traveling for over two hours to play in this league -- be respectful to them. You will be penalized $80 per game if I do not receive prior notice of your team being absent and the money will go to the opposing team. 3. Concessions stand will be available 4. We will have ice available for injuries ,but no trainer will be on site. Please make sure we have your correct phone number in case of a serious injury. 5. The final week will be the playoffs and teams will be seated by record and scores. The championship team and runner-up will be crowned. The tournament will consist of a single elimination. 6. Each team will receive 10 Jerseys. 7. Each team will be responsible for sending me a roster of their team two months before the league begins and what number (0-9), each player will receive for the League Program. Also, Parent/Guardian will need to fill out permission form for their son to participate. 8. We will not provide basketballs. The league will provide one game ball per court. 9. Please notice the game times start at 6:00 on June 16th. Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time the first day to receive uniforms. 10. It is extremely important that each team communicates with me or Coach Gerber about fielding a team for each night. Let’s have no forfeits.
