Block 2. Domain Study Associations (844 grants) These are associations liaised to a School and whose target group consists of students of that faculty from one or multiple study programs. The aim of this domain is primarily study-related support. 1. Fixed grants In the domain Faculty Study Associations, the fixed number of grants is determined by the number of members. The reference date is 31 January of the current academic year. Proof of number of members is to be submitted with the realization. If the association also offers discounts on books, 10% is deducted from the total number of members. Grants are awarded according to the scheme below: Members 0-100 101-250 251-750 751-1000 1001-1500 1501-2000 2001-2500 2501-3000 3001-3500 3501-4000 4001-4500 4501-5000 5001-5500 5501-6000 6001-6500 etc. Number of grants 6 18 27 36 45 65 85 105 125 145 165 185 205 225 245 additional 20 If there are foundations within this domain whose fixed number of grants cannot be determined by means of memberships, the committee will assess these separately and award grants for executive tasks if necessary. In the application, the names of the board members are presented. It is up to the associations to determine the division of the number of grants among their active members. Please note that there is a maximum application of 9 grants per person per year. 2. Variable grants The variable grants are based on a point system and should be applied for every year. To apply for points for variable grants, proof of a committee needs to be provided. The Committee assesses these applications separately. The Committee may request an estimated budget to accurately assess the intention of the activity. 2
