Victor Mieres
Vice President of the Regional Partner Program
As Vice President of the Regional Partner Program, Victor
Mieres ensures the NI Alliance Partner Program scales globally
to best support customers.
Prior to this, Mieres served as the Vice President of the
Emerging Markets and led sales, marketing, and business
operations in India, Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East,
Australia, and Africa.
Mieres has established NI in international locations like China, Korea, Eastern Europe,
Latin America, and Canada and has driven sustained revenue growth in international
sales.
In 2008, Mieres founded Planet NI, the highly successful program designed to empower
engineers in emerging countries to achieve sustainable prosperity by providing
increased access to NI technology. Under his leadership, Planet NI has established a
presence in more than 20 countries.
Mieres holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Simón
Bolívar University in Venezuela and Stanford University, respectively.
