International Programs and Housing is excited to offer the International Living- Learning Community
(ILLC) located in the Pacer Commons residence hall in the Fall 2013 semester. Living-Learning
Communities provide the opportunity for students to become part of a unique experience, with programs
and facilities to nurture a diversified learning experience for the community members at no extra cost. If
you are interested in living and interacting with students of different backgrounds, life experiences, and
cultures, then, the ILLC is for you. The community promises rich cultural diversity and promotes global
awareness and experience.

The pairing of international students and U.S. students as roommates

Intercultural skills workshops and activities

Programming series on global and cultural issues

Discussion programs focusing on international issues and global awareness

You can apply for the International LLC by completing an application and submitting a short essay (100250 words each) answering the following: What do you hope to gain from participating in the ILLC
and what do you plan to contribute to the ILLC?
