The Council met from 2:00 to 3:50 p.m. in the University Union Board Room.
The Council will hold a special policy meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in the
President’s conference room, Sherman Hall 205.

Policy Discussions:
1. Asst. Provost Dallinger presented CAGAS with a report about FYE. Several issues were
discussed including FYE as a graduation requirement, enrollment requirement, permission to
withdraw, catalog description, and the current status of FYE. CAGAS passed a resolution to ask
the Faculty Exec Board for guidance on this issue.
2. CAGAS set the agenda for its policy meeting. The order of discussion is enforced
prerequisites; withdraw policy revisions, accepting freshmen on probation, and probation for
incomplete files.
