To establish IMINT collection responsibilities and planning instructions applicable to CFC and JTF Korea. b. Responsibilities. CJG2 exercises staff responsibility for IMINT collection activities. (1) CFC Collection Management Office exercises day to day control of IMINT tasking. (2) The fusion of IMINT with intelligence collected from other sources is conducted by the all source CFC Joint Intelligence Center (JIC). 2. Imagery Intelligence Organizations. TBD upon implementation of the OPLAN. Imagery assets that can be requested include the Predator UAV, theater, and national level imagery collectors. a. Assignment of Imagery Collection Requirements. The assignment of imagery collection requirements for JTF Korea, theater, or national use depends on the justification of the requirement and the availability and capability of collection systems. Theater and national systems are limited and must respond to competing requirements from both government and military users. (1) National Systems. National collection assets are best suited for denied areas not accessible by theater collection platforms. Although tasking these systems can be done in a relatively short time (24-48 hours), results may not always be available for rapid dissemination to the requester. (2) Theater Assets. The primary function of theater collection assets is to respond to the operational needs of JTF Korea and its components. Requirements tasked to theater assets can normally be tasked and received in a timely manner. Theater systems will be used to their full capacity before tasking national systems 3. Collection Activities, Functions, and Plans. All coaliton forces will forward imagery intelligence collection requirements to the CJG2 Collection Management and Dissemination (CM&D) IMINT section. All standing requirements must be sent 72 hours in advance and time sensitive requirements 12 hours in advance. 4. Concept of Operations for Imagery Collection, Processing, and Production. a. Areas of IMINT responsibility are the JOA land mass and coastal waters. b. IMINT collection will be a continuous process during the pre-execution and execution phases of the OPLAN.
