Interact Math Assignment
You will be completing problems from InterAct Math as additional review for your test. You
need to do each problem until you are correct (you will see a green checkmark next to the
problem when it’s correct!). After each section, you will be taking a snapshot of the screen,
saving it and then uploading it to blackboard.
 Go to www.interactmath.com
 Click Enter
 Use the drop down menu to find our textbook
o Prentice Hall Algebra 1 2011 (it’s the 9th one down)
 Click Submit
 Click on Chapter 2: Solving Equations
 Click on Section 7: Solving Proportions
 Complete Exercises 3, 4, 21, 25, 35
o When you type in an answer you will need to click on the check answer button. The
website will tell you whether or not you did the problem correctly. If you forgot
how to do a problem there is a button on the right ‘Help Me Solve This’ for help.
o If you got the problem correct, click ok and close. You will see a green check mark
next to the problem you just completed.
o If you get the problem wrong, click on similar exercise to try another one until you
get it right.
 When all the problems are correct, you will use the snipping tool from the start menu to
capture the image of your box. Then right click on the image and save it to your desktop
using your first initial, last name and the section. For example: kshaw2.7





Now click back to Chapter List at the top of the page
Click on Chapter 10: Radical Expressions and Equations
Click on Section 1: The Pythagorean Theorem
Complete Exercises 1, 7, 23
When all problems are correct, use the snipping tool and save to the desktop with your
first initial, last name, and the section (10.1)





Click back to Chapter List at the top of the page
Click on Chapter 10
Click on Section 2: Simplifying Radicals
Complete Exercises 1, 11
When both problems are correct, use the snipping tool and save to the desktop with your
first initial, last name, and the section (10.2)
When you are finished 
Log onto blackboard using Chrome or Firefox…do NOT use internet explorer
Click on Algebra 1
Click on the InterAct Math tab on the left
Clock on the 10/25 Chapter Review Assignment
Scroll down to Attach file
o Click Browse My Computer
o Find one of the files on the desktop
o Double click on the file (it is now attached)
o Click Browse My Computer again…repeat for all three images
 Scroll down and click Submit
 You should see a green bar at the top stating that your assignment has been submitted!!





If you did not finish in class then it is homework, due Friday!!!
