Performers included the Hi Fi Four of Cleveland, Ohio, and the Mid-States Four of Chicago, Illinois. Sound technicians were Bill Thomas and William Hofmann of the Muncie Audio Society. Scope and Contents This collection contains an audio recording of performances by the barbershop quartet groups the Hi Fi Four and the Mid-States Four at the Muncie Masonic Temple on November 4, 1962. Also included are two newspaper clippings with photographs and information on the quartets and a postcard from Dan Mihuta, the Hi Fi Four bass singer, to William Hofmann, a Muncie Audio Society sound technician who worked the performance.
