2016 Symposium of Undergraduate Research and Creative Scholarship Guidelines and Registration Form The 16th Annual Symposium of Undergraduate Research & Creative Scholarship will take place in Pierson Auditorium from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Students who are taking part in creative projects, doing research, or preparing scholarly papers are invited to showcase their work at the symposium. All SEARCH grant recipients will be presenting their work. The deadline for symposium registration and abstract submission is 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016. Submission Guidelines The registration form and project abstract are to be submitted as a Word .doc or .docx document attached to an email to greerj@umkc.edu by the deadline. Photos may be included and should be submitted in .jpg or .png format. Any figures/photos should be inserted within the abstract space, not sent separately. The entire body of the abstract, including any figures, MUST fit within the box indicated on the abstract template.
