Giving e-Consent allows you to access your student information online and by request via UMKC e-mail. You have the right to receive your financial notices in printed format. However, with your e-Consent, your transactions can be processed faster than if you have to wait for mail from our offices or conduct business in person.

By withdrawing e-Consent, you will no longer have access to the following electronic information and online processes:

 Pathway Student Center including Cashiers, Financial Aid and Records & Registration. o Student account and billing information

 view and print your bill online at any time

 pay your bill online

 set-up authorized users to view, print, or pay your bill online o Financial Aid application status:

 list of incomplete financial aid steps

 ability to accept, decline or reduce offers online

 promissory note completion and loan processing requirements

 check disbursement amounts and dates o Registration & Records

 adding and dropping classes

 viewing semester grades (end of term grade reports will not be mailed)

 update address and phone

 Receiving the following notices to your UMKC e-mail account: o Billing status and due date o Reminder notices when there are upcoming deadlines regarding your finances. o Reminder notices if something in your Financial Aid file is incomplete. o Disbursements and refund availability. o Messages from the Registrar's office regarding priority registration and enrollment dates along with other information related to the beginning and end of semester academic policies and procedures.

 Ability to make requests with our offices through e-mail for student specific information or adjustments.

All future correspondence will be sent through the U. S. Postal Service, which may delay processing. Even if you designate someone as authorized to access your information through a FERPA release, no e-mail exchanges will be allowed between them and staff in Cashiers or Financial Aid. All requests must be made in writing or in person during regular business hours.
