Grading
Assignments maybe graded in various ways:
•Daily paper may be graded using number correct out of
number possible then deriving at a percentage.
•Another way papers could be scored by a number that
reflects numbers on the report card
4 - Exemplary - shows extraordinary application
3 - Proficient - consistent application of content/skills.
Meets grade level expectations.

2 - Developing - shows basic application of
content/skills. Working toward grade level expectations.
1 - Emerging - shows some evidence of content/skills
•Some other papers may be graded on rubrics that
include the skills that were covered during the unit.
The rubrics will be attached to the papers that were
graded.
Litaracy is three blocks
Language and Word Study
Students explore the intricacies
