The tree was found to cause damage to an air handler that supplied cold air to the main university server room. Facilities, and UIS were able to stabilize the temperature in the server room by getting one of the two fans to function on the damaged unit. Campus Public Safety Monthly Activity Report - May 2012 CASE NUMBER DATE REPORTED INCIDENT VALUE OF PROPERTY 172 05/22/2012 Medical Report $0.00 SUMMARY Campus Public Safety while on routine patrol located a non-student male juvenile acting in a suspicious manner. Officers contacted the male juvenile and learned that he had a self inflicted injury to his hand. The hand was injured by repeatedly punching a wall. Male juvenile declined medical attention. The male juvenile stated that he had an argument with his girl friend and had taken out his frustrations on the wall with his fist. Officers attended to his injuries and a parent was called to pick up the male juvenile and seek the appropriate medical attention. After a thorough search of the building the backpack was determined to be lost and or stolen. UIS was also notified. Door latch was bent so that the door could not be secured. One guest also caught by CPS taking food from the serving area without authorization. Guests agreed to pay for damages to property.
