No suspects at this time. CASE NUMBER 037 DATE REPORTED 2/2/2012 INCIDENT Medical Report VALUE OF PROPERTY SUMMARY Student twisted his ankle during an intramural basketball game. Student requested evaluation by FGFD who responded and advised student to seek medical attention. Student declined to be transported to hospital but indicated he would seek medical attention the next day. Student was escorted by vehicle to his residence and given ice to place on his injury. The marijuana was seized for evidence, the alcohol was destroyed and disposed of, and the non-student was trespassed from Pacific University property. Referred to Conduct Review Committee. CASE NUMBER 040 DATE REPORTED 02/08/2012 INCIDENT Property Damage VALUE OF PROPERTY SUMMARY Campus Public Safety received a call from a staff member stating that a tree branch fell on top of a car in Lot-C. CPS arrived to find a black Subaru with tree debris all over the top of car and a large branch on the ground next to it. There was no damage noted to the vehicle at this time and no injuries to report. Officers provided assistance, no further treatment / transport was needed. Upon arrival, Public Safety Officers determined that there was no immediate medical emergency. Student referred to Health Center. CASE NUMBER 046 DATE REPORTED 2/10/2012 INCIDENT Drugs (Poss of Cont Subst / VALUE OF PROPERTY SUMMARY CPS contacted students in regards to the odor of marijuana coming from their apartment. Students admitted to smoking marijuana. One student was found in possession of items that indicated he was distributing marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms. Student was taken into custody by FGPD and booked in to the Washington County Jail. All items were confiscated by FGPD. Student treated and transported by ambulance to Tuality Hospital. CASE NUMBER 051 DATE REPORTED 02/15/2012 INCIDENT Medical Report VALUE OF PROPERTY $0.00 SUMMARY Campus Public Safety received a call from a parent advising their daughter had been injured. Parent asked CPS to help locate student and ensure they received medical attention. CPS learned that student had been transported to local hospital by roommate for evaluation and treatment. Student was treated for a concussion and released at the hospital a short time later. Student was evaluated by paramedics and released to the care of his roommate. CASE NUMBER 056 DATE REPORTED 02/18/2012 INCIDENT Disorderly Conduct II VALUE OF PROPERTY $0.00 SUMMARY Campus Public Safety officers responded to a residence hall on a report of a fire alarm activation. Police and fire personnel responded as well. Officers found that a pull station had been maliciously activated and there was no fire or other emergency. No suspects identified. CPS, FG Fire and EMS responded and assisted student who was transported to Tuality Hospital for treatment. Campus Public Safety Monthly Activity Report - Feb 2012 CASE NUMBER 061 DATE REPORTED 02/24/2012 INCIDENT Fire VALUE OF PROPERTY SUMMARY Resident Assistants reported a fire in the Clark Hall, 1st floor kitchen, which had been extinguished. Officers found a tea-pot which had been left unattended on the stove and caught fire. Fire was extinguished by students who smelled burning. FG Fire & Rescue called to investigate and assist with smoke removal from the hallways. No damage other than to the pot itself. CASE NUMBER 063 DATE REPORTED 02/24/2012 INCIDENT Alcohol & Drugs VALUE OF PROPERTY $0.00 SUMMARY Campus Public Safety responded to a resident hall for reports of an odor of marijuana. Officers were able to determine the location of the odor and made contact with two students. After further investigation the students were found to be in possession of alcohol while under the age of twenty one, a small amount of marijuana, marijuana pipe, and brownies laced with marijuana. The students were referred to the conduct review committee. CASE NUMBER 064 DATE REPORTED 2/25/2012 INCIDENT Alcohol/ Violation of Residence VALUE OF PROPERTY $0.00 SUMMARY Resident Assistant requested Campus Public Safety assistance on a noise compliant. CPS Officers arrived to find several students inside the room under the influence of an intoxicant. Students were contacted and all alcohol containers were confiscated and destroyed. One student was twenty-one, admitted to supplying the alcohol, and all else were under the legal drinking age. All students were referred to Conduct Review Committee. CASE NUMBER 065 DATE REPORTED 02/25/2012 INCIDENT Drugs VALUE OF PROPERTY SUMMARY Campus Public Safety contacted one student and 4 non students in a residential apartment who were in possession of marijuana and a bong. CPS seized the marijuana and bong for evidence. The four non students were trespassed from Pacific University property. The student was referred to the conduct review committee. CASE NUMBER 066 DATE REPORTED 2/26/2012 INCIDENT Drugs/ Violation of Residence VALUE OF PROPERTY $0.00 SUMMARY Contacted by RA’s in reference to the odor of marijuana. CPS Officers contacted students in hallway and determined they were involved with the room where the odor was coming from. Officers confiscated marijuana and two knives that are over the legal length. Both students were referred to Conduct Review Advisor.
