In this class, you will improve your math without even knowing you're learning! We will play fun, interactive math games on the iPads. Mrs. Stevenson Digital Storytelling Monday and Wednesday (Grades 3-5) Using If You Give A Moose A Muffin as a model, come and create your own digital story! Students will write and illustrate their own circle story following the model of If You Give A Moose A Muffin. Finished stories will then be recorded in iMovie to create your own digital story! Ms. Abel FANCY NANCY FIESTA! (Grades 1-2 GIRLS) Fancy Nancy LOVES fancy things! She especially loves fancy vocabulary (that's a fancy way of saying "words")! Come and hear a favorite Fancy Nancy read aloud each week and become a word enthusiast (that's a fancy word for someone who enjoys something a lot)! We will also enjoy some delightful activities! (Delightful is a fancy way of saying FUN!) You will be a vocabulary expert! Ms. Metzger Reading with Technology (Grades 2-3) Use Read Naturally and iPads to be a better reader! Read Naturally will help you read smoothly and understand what you read. The iPads will help you with word work and creating stories. Mrs. Kissell Board Games Galore (Grades 3-5) Do you like playing games like Blokus, Mouse Trap, Mastermind, Make 7, and more? In this class, you will be problem-solving, working with others and most of all having fun! Mrs. Van Guilder Just Play (Grades 1-2) Develop social skills through make believe play, puppets, art projects, stories and more. You will build friendships during interactive play. Ms. Nygren Yoga Calm (Grade 3-5) Yoga Calm® teaches students yoga-based movement and mindfulness practices. Yoga Calm activities are designed to reduce stress, prepare students to learn, and create calmer and more productive environments by practicing techniques that impact their focus, attention, and connection to others.
