Warm Winter Clothing: Yes—it was a cold winter! With the help of a grant from Thrivent Cares, Eastview Community Foundation was able to offer support of warm winter clothing to students at Oakridge Elementary. We appreciate
the support of our community businesses.
EVCF Grants and Scholarships Awards Ceremony: On May 27, 2014, EVCF awarded grants to Eastview attendance‐
area schools and scholarships to graduating Eastview seniors. We presented 118 scholarships worth $83,500 to
graduating seniors from the Class of 2014 to encourage their education after high school and be our next community
leaders. We are also able to support four school programs for elementary, middle & high school students with EVCF
grants for purchasing updated technology, ipads & learning materials for the classrooms.
Visit www.evcf.org to learn how you can create a scholarship legacy for future Eastview graduating classes and read
about the grants we are funding. I invite you to become a Dream Maker today!
