Student Curators ‐ Wikispace Portfolio 2013cd Session Description: Levels of engagement and focus are much higher when students create materials to share. We also want students to be reflective practitioners, self‐assessing their work on assignments and projects. This session will focus on online portfolios using Wikispaces, embedding dynamic content to pump up the excitement in the classroom. Online Presentation: http://goo.gl/WrrYz Purpose: Student portfolios provide a body of work which showcases what students learn. For the teacher, it provides both formative and summative assessment of skills. It is also a nice display of course work for parents or others.
