SUMMARY
Christopher (Chris) J Wright is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Professional
of Learning and Performance (CPLPTM) with over twenty (20) years of project leadership, mentoring,
consulting, and organizational learning and development experience.
Mr. Wright specializes in maximizing human capital performance through optimally aligned adult learning
systems, leadership development and effective project management expertise.

Chris is the CEO of The Wright Way Entrepreneurs Corp, a small business and entrepreneurial incubator
company based in Raleigh, NC. Wright Way currently manages several start-ups in the corporate training,
moving and hauling, recycling, and consumer apparel industries. In addition, Mr. Wright is the Founder,
President, and Managing Principal of Tanden, a human and organizational performance optimization firm.
Tanden is in the business of helping organizations successfully reach their desired project delivery goals and
maximizing efficiencies through relevant and targeted adult learning programs. At Tanden, Mr. Wright has
worked with organizations in a multitude of industries including: Health/Hospital Care, Crop Science,
Financial Services, Department of Defense, Consumer Retail, Food and Beverage, Consumer Food and
Beverage Products, City and State Governments, Higher Education, Wireless Telecommunications, and
Information Technology. Chris has also developed and currently delivers several Executive Education
programs at universities around the U.S.
Prior to Tanden, Chris worked as a Senior Program and Project Manager in the wireless telecommunications
industry leading cutting edge wireless data/Internet projects.
Chris has a Master’s degree in Project Management (MPM) from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor
of Arts (BA) in Economics and Spanish from Georgia Southern University. He is a member of the American
Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) where he served
as the Vice President of Education for the North Carolina chapter of PMI (NCPMI). Mr. Wright has also been
certified by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) as a Professionally Qualified
(PQ) instructor (now referred to as an Instructional Practitioner, or IP) through its Bridge Program.
Chris serves as a Board Member and Event Director for a Raleigh-based charitable organization, The Bald
Entrepreneurs. In the past six years, The Bald Entrepreneurs has raised over $450,000 for childhood cancer
research. In his spare time, Chris is a baseball coach, writes about historical ironies, and also enjoys the great
outdoors – particularly golf, mountain biking, camping, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

Project Management Coach and Mentor, Global Consumer Food Product Company
Served as Executive and Program Management coach, mentor, consultant, and facilitator for a product
development project. Assisted and facilitated in the development of the product launch project scope,
schedule, and budget plans.
Adjunct Faculty, Top-Tier Business School and Executive Education Program
Developed, implemented, and instructs regional business leaders in beginning, intermediate, and advanced
project management courses and seminars for a University’s Executive Education program. The university
utilized Tanden’s Project Leadership SeriesSM courses and seminars for its enterprise engagement and
open enrollment programs.
Large-Scale Project Planning, Global Restructuring Firm
Consulted on and led the development of a large-scale, cross-functional, site and structural reorganization
project plan for a regional grocery store chain. The primary deliverables of the project included deliverables
identification and definition, the project schedule, a comprehensive resource plan, and reporting and
monitoring mechanisms.
Project Leadership Educator, Global Professional Training Provider
Designed, developed, facilitated, and taught project leadership courses, workshops, and seminars for business
leaders and professional project managers. The project management education offerings include both general
and customized training and mentoring programs for clients.

Designed, developed, and deployed a Project Management training and practice program for a global high-tech
solutions firm. The engagement began with a customized project management training course for its project
leaders, continued with an audit of current project practices, and concluded with the recommendation of
better practices initiatives for the firm’s project management discipline.
Project Management Best Practices Program, Global Risk Management Leader
Consulted, instructed, and mentored risk management consulting team on newly deployed Project
Management Practice program for large Risk Management Consulting professional services firm. The
initiative was the organization’s first attempt at deploying consistent and comprehensive methodologies, and
tools positioned to foster reusable and better practices for the project management discipline.
Wireless Telecommunications Industry, Senior Program and Project Manager (1991 – 2004)
Program/Project Management Competence Development Program
Led several key cross-functional and new technology initiatives in the rapidly growing wireless
telecommunications industry. Notable projects included: Multi Media Messaging (MMS), Short Messaging
