NOTES: 1. This suggested specification is applicable for standard ASCO Series 230 ATS with C1000 controller 2. This template is only provided for reference only. Contents with ‘blue font’ words indicate the parts that need to be modified according to the specified product or project information. The ‘red font’ words indicate the important parameters or technical features in the critical clause. 3. ATS Suggested Specification In order to ensure the long-time continuous power supplying for the critical loads, this project needs to purchase ATS with international well-known brands, including ASCO. The critical parameters and technical features requirements of the ATSs are listed as below. • To ensure high quality, the manufacturer that supplying the ATS should comply with ISO international quality standards, and provide a valid ISO9001 certificate. • The ATS must comply with the IEC 60947-6-1 standard, and pass strict tests in a third party test lab. A valid type test report should be made available to prove that ATS complies with the latest IEC 60947-6-1 standard. • PC class ATS, available for both manual and automatic operation. • Applicable for AC-33B utilization category. • Basic electrical parameters: • - Rated voltage and frequency: 380Vac/50Hz - Rated current: 400A - Poles: 4 - Rated insulation voltage: 800Vac The mechanism should have reliable electrical and mechanical interlock, which can prevent two sources from connecting simultaneously. • The main contacts can operate at stable two operation positions or three operation positions. When operating at three operation positions mode, two sources can be isolated in the center-off position. An isolating position lock is required to ensure safe maintenance when operating at center-off mode. • Has a large current withstand capability: - Rated short-time withstand current: 25kA@100ms (15kA@100ms for C2ADTL, 10kA@100ms for B2ADTL) - Rated short-circuit making capacity: 65kA peak (31.5kA peak for C2ADTL, 17kA peak for B2ADTL) - Rated conditional short-circuit current (with specified current limiting fuse): 200kA (120kA for B2ADTL) • Mechanical operation performance (times) should be not less than 10,000. • The switch and the controller should withstand at least 40kA surge current when cooperating with Class C surge protective devices. • The switch body can configure at least 8 auxiliary contactors. • The controller panel should have LED indicators to indicate the status of the two sources and contacts position. • The controller should monitor the status of the two sources and can transfer when over-voltage, under-voltage, over-frequency, under-frequency, and phase loss faults occur. - Over-voltage setting: 120% or OFF - Under-voltage setting : 70%, 85% - Over-frequency setting: 110%, 115% - Under-frequency setting: 85%, 90% • The controller can operate normally when the power supply voltage ranges -30%Ue to +30%Ue. • Multiple operating modes are optional, including manual/automatic, source I priority/no source priority, and remote control. • Can accept the 24Vdc fire control signal input to transfer the non-essential loads to the disconnect position in case of fire. • Time delay can be adjustable to avoid the mis-operation because of the source interference and the inrush current during the transition. Time delay contents should include: - override momentary power outage for source I and II: 0-3s - source I to source II: 0-5min - source II back to source I: 1s-30min - engine cool down: 5min - center-off position delay: OFF or 5s
