Introduction

• Many people are afraid of grizzly bears.

Do you know why? Maybe because of there sharp claws, teeth and really strong jaws. Grizzly bears are fascinating animals. Why don’t you help me save the grizzly bear.

Adaptations

First, grizzly bears have sharp teeth and powerful jaw muscles. That helps them by ripping their prey. Second, grizzly bears can camouflage.

That helps them by staying hidden in their environment. Another adaptation is that they have a heavy coating of fur. That helps them in the winter so they don’t freeze to death.

Lastly, grizzly bears have sharp claws. That helps them by being able to catch fish.

Depend upon

• Grizzly bear cubs depend upon their mothers because their mothers feed them.

• Grizzly bears also depend upon territory so they can hunt to survive.

• Grizzly bears also depend upon bison, dear, elk, salmon, moose calves, and plants to feed on.

Food web

• The grizzly eats salmon the salmon eats shrimp the shrimp eats plants found under water.

• The grizzly eats moose the eats plants.

• The grizzly eats dear the dear eats plants.

• The grizzly eats elk the elk eats plants.

• The grizzly eats bison the bison eats plants.

• The grizzly eats plants and nuts.

Why it’s in danger

• The grizzly is in danger because people hunt them because they are scared of them, and for trophies.

The grizzly is also in danger because people hunt their prey for food.

There also in danged because people take their space for villages and crops.

Solutions

• A solution is not to hunt the grizzly for trophies and not to hunt their prey for trophies or food.
