WHEREAS: The Minority Graduate Student Association requests student organization
registration; and
WHEREAS: the Organization and Finance Committee finds the group to be acceptable
according to its by-laws; and
WHEREAS: Minority Graduate Student Association seeks to promote and foster
professionalism, academic excellence, and success among diverse graduate students at UNI; and
WHEREAS: They will do this by providing networking and programing; and
RECOGNIZING: That this organization hopes to serve as a community that supports cultural
awareness, collaboration, and professional development on campus; and
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: That the Minority Graduate Student Association (MGSA) is
granted registration by the Northern Iowa Student Government.
