This compares to 0.26% for the Stiff-Stalk F2, which had the lowest reading of the 3 Corn Belt F2s. We cannot
say how statistically significant these differences are because we do not have a measurement of error for this
study. However, in an adjacent study where phosphorus concentration was measured among S1 families based
on seed from 3-4 bulked ears from each of 2 replications, the LSD for S1s was 0.08%.
