Memorializing our Veterans through Art
This seminar will discuss the memorializing process in Muskegon in recognition of
our Vietnam Veterans. Featured monuments will include, the “Final Approach”
Vietnam War Memorial in Hidden Cove Park, and the new “Vietnam Benches” at
Memorial Park along Muskegon’s Causeway.
Featured Speaker: Art Historian, Tim Norris will provide an interpretative
pictorial of Muskegon area monuments, culminating with an explanatory
discussion of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.
