Participatory social work interventions with rural communities in India: Sharing a bird’s eye view The lecture will be held on Monday, February 24 from 12:15 – 1:30pm in Room 500, TTK School of Social Work. Suresh Pathare, Ph.D., MSW is a social work educator and research scholar from India and is a recipient of Dr. C.V. Raman post-doctoral fellowship from University Grants Commission of India. Dr. Pathare serves as professor and Director at the Centre for Studies in Rural Development, Institute of Social Work and Research, in Ahmednagar (an Institute affiliated to University of Pune), India. He has previously held faculty positions at the School of Social Work, Indira Gandhi National Open University, in New Delhi; the School of Rural Development of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai; and in the Department of Social Work, at University of Delhi.
