CO-OP & CAREER GUIDES
ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES AND SUSTAINABILITY
The BA in Environmental Studies and Sustainability is
for students who want to address contemporary
environmental issues from the perspective of the
humanities. By taking courses alongside their
classmates in the Environmental Science and
Geoscience programs, these students gain a valuable
background in field research and the basics of
environmental sampling. This technical expertise
complements the liberal arts skills they gain in
communication, collaboration, creative and critical
thinking, leadership, and—equally important—
optimism. Through Drexel’s Co-op program, students
in this major gain the competitive edge of occupationspecific skills and knowledge and a sense of
professionalism.
