Certainly, the students’ responses in b) would be situated in their native background, which may differ depending on students’ backgrounds. These differences should not be allowed to go unnoticed by the instructor, but instead, be placed in a global context so that the students understand the role played by culture and language in the situation. 2. The instructor should tactfully explain the role of the zombie in the video: no zombies actually exist in reality, but hostile beings, who may potentially bring students harm do exist. IV.
