The unit consists of a trailer mounted high horsepower engine, high a
­ mbient
radiator, transmission and a high pressure positive displacement pump.
A fracturing blender delivers the fluid to the unit. The unit operates from a local
control panel or from a remote control panel.

Mechanics® application-matched drivelines are rugged
assemblies that withstand the demands of today’s most
powerful powertrain requirements. All components are
specifically designed to meet the optimum requirements for a given u-joint size.
At GKN Stromag we know that equipment exposed to torsional
vibration can only operate smoothly if you select the right
coupling for the job. Accurate calculations of the entire driveline system and its components are
essential for the appropriate selection and design of the coupling to properly tune the system.
Precision balancing assures smooth, vibration-free operation. Driveshafts are available in a
wide range of sizes and a broad RPM operating range.

High PERFORMANCE Clutches
Over the decades, GKN Stromag clutches have demonstrated
both quality and reliability with our proven designs.
Particular applications include use in public utility vehicles, fork-lift trucks and a range of other
industrial machinery. We provide optimum solutions tailored for your drivetrain requirements,
whether for a single project or mass production. We currently produce clutches with a torque
range of 2 Nm up to 2,200,000 Nm.

cardan shafts, the 15.5C & 20C series
driveshafts are well matched for heavy
duty applications that demand
performance and reliability.
Compatible with universal joint and CV
joint driveshafts, the design employs a
combination of a ring style flexible rubber
element to absorb rotational shocks
along with non-lubricated, wear-resistant
composite bearings to accommodate
axial and radial loads.
The high-performance KMS 9000 dual
clutch technology is is based on the
reliable design of the GKN Stromag KMS
clutches which are world renowned in the
trans­mission industry.

This clutch is designed as a wet running
multi-disc clutch so that it has high
thermal capacity and is able to handle

GKN Stromag SYNCHRO SYE 2700 >
A side
The SYE 2700 high-performance
synchromesh clutch is designed as a
multi-disc assembly to have high thermal
capacity and high torque for reliable
synchronisation, even under rough
conditions.
The ring element can be bolted directly to an
engine‘s flywheel. The universal shaft is
flange-mounted to the B-side of the
coupling. The cardan shaft can have a
deflection angle of up to 5 degrees; larger
angles are available upon request.
The special design transfers high torque
within a small space and gives a long
guiding clearance for unfailing sleeve
shifting.
Torque range between 560 Nm to 14,800
Nm. The connecting dimensions on the
engine side conform to SAE standard J620 or
DIN 6281.
