Charge:
Deploy the strategic planning model.
Outcome:
Strategic planning is a joint responsibility of the faculty, staff, students and leadership team of UWStout to ensure a viable and responsive organization.
Develop and deploy a strategic plan for UW-Stout incorporating the values of participation,
communication, and data-driven, outcome-based results.

Conduct stakeholder visioning.
Develop long-range goals.
Create action plans to accomplish the goals.
Develop and monitor performance indicators.

Note 2: SPG Membership is subject to change as current action plans are resolved/completed
and new action plans emerge. Due to the ongoing nature of discussions and decisions made by
the SPG, this committee does not have alternates.

In-Person Meetings
Individuals on the SPG will serve a one-year term starting October 1 and continue through
September 30. Meetings occur on Monday afternoons from 2:00-4:00pm and typically occur once
per month. Members are expected to attend a limited number of summer meetings and are
expected to attend the annual retreat (summer) and the Engagement Sessions (August).
