UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-STOUT COMMITTEE/TEAM ESTABLISHMENT FORM Team Name: Strategic Planning Group (SPG) Charge: Deploy the strategic planning model. Outcome: Strategic planning is a joint responsibility of the faculty, staff, students and leadership team of UWStout to ensure a viable and responsive organization. Develop and deploy a strategic plan for UW-Stout incorporating the values of participation, communication, and data-driven, outcome-based results. • • • • • • Review and renew the mission, vision, and values of the university. Conduct stakeholder visioning. Develop long-range goals. Create action plans to accomplish the goals. Develop and monitor performance indicators. Periodically review progress. Note 2: SPG Membership is subject to change as current action plans are resolved/completed and new action plans emerge. Due to the ongoing nature of discussions and decisions made by the SPG, this committee does not have alternates. Meetings occur on Monday afternoons from 2:00-4:00pm and typically occur once per month. Members are expected to attend a limited number of summer meetings and are expected to attend the annual retreat (summer) and the Engagement Sessions (August). Updated August 3, 2015 2
