The Great Wall
of China
China
China is a large country in Asia. There
are many interesting places to visit in
China. When people visit China, they
often go to see the Great Wall of China.
China
The Great Wall of China was built
a long time ago. The wall was built
to keep enemies out of China.
Along the wall are many towers. These
towers were used by guards to keep a
lookout for enemies.
Some of the towers are as tall as a
building with three stories. A story
is another word for a level of a
building with two or more floors.
China
The Great Wall of China is huge. It
is more than 5,500 miles long. The
wall stretches across the northern
part of China.
The Great Wall of China is no longer
used to keep people out of China.
Tourists from all over the world travel
to China to see the Great Wall.
