MICHAEL STILLER, LEED AP, IESNA, Practicing Affiliate IALD

Michael brings over 25 years of experience in lighting design to all of his projects. Michael's career spans the worlds of experiential environments, theatrical presentations, television, and motion pictures. His architectural designs and permanent systems are represented in the museum, corporate, residential, retail, and performing arts markets. His theatrical projects have been produced in dozens of international venues ranging from raw industrial spaces to classical opera houses, state theaters, and arenas. His work for camera is represented in major motion pictures and network television. In 1998, Michael founded

Michael Stiller Design, where he directs a flexible workforce of designers, project managers, and programmers. Mr. Stiller has led lighting workshops abroad, been a guest lecturer at the Pratt Institute, and is currently a faculty member at FIT in both the interior design department and the master's degree program in exhibit design. He is a member of the board of directors of the USGBC New York Upstate

Chapter, for which he conducts seminars and presentations for green building professionals and groups.

Michael is also a guest lecturer for SUNY Ulster’s Sustainable Building Advisors Program, and he leads regular webinars on Quality Lighting for High Performance Buildings for the Association of Energy

Engineers. Michael is currently at work on his first book, Quality Lighting for High Performance Buildings , to be published by The Fairmont Press.
