Diane Brandli, ASID, CID, LEED AP db design sustainability & interiors consulting Diane Brandli has worked as an Interior Designer for over 27 years, and has been a design team member for many award-winning educational and institutional projects. She routinely incorporates sustainable products and strategies into her work, and her recent experience includes one LEED certified and five LEED registered projects. Diane has also taught interior design at Syracuse University, OCM BOCES and currently at Onondaga Community College. Her volunteer work includes her role as founding member, Vice President and Communications Chair of GreeningUSA, a local non-profit group dedicated to sustainable communities. She is also the editor of the GreeningUSA News Digest, with a distribution of 1,400, and growing. In addition, Diane is a member of the U. S. Green Building Council, New York Upstate Chapter, and serves as the Green Schools Committee Chair, leading a “Green Schools” campaign for the NY Upstate Chapter. And, she serves on the Advisory Committee for the annual SUNY ESF Green Building Conference. Diane's passion for sustainability has led her to a commitment to life-long learning, and that has led to a number of speaking engagements across Upstate New York. She is also past-President of the American Society of Interior Designer’s New York Upstate/Canada East. Her service awards include three from GreeningUSA in 2006, 2007 and 2008; one of twenty to be honored with the CNY Women in Business Award in 2007; and the ASID Exceptional Chapter Member Award for Going Green in 2008.
