Some requirements may have been fulfilled by a course taken in the Associate’s
Degree. Transfer students with an AAS, Business (Accounting Emphasis) from
MCC will have satisfied Webster general education requirement in the following
areas: Communications, Scientific Understanding and Mathematics. Depending
on the History/Political Science choice, they will also have satisfied Historical
Consciousness or Values. This leaves five of Webster’s nine general education
requirement areas to be fulfilled: Critical Thinking, Art, Humanities and two of
the following: Historical Consciousness, Cultural Understanding, and Values.
Individual analysis of student’s transcript will determine remaining courses
to be taken at Webster both in the Major and in General Education. All
general education and major courses must be completed with a C- or better
