Bio of Lu Lin Lu Lin, professor and director of Biomass Chemical Engineering Research Institute in College of Light Industry and Food Engineering, South China University of Technology, is a member of Biomass Energy Association of China, a standing member of Technological Association of Pulp and Paper Association of Guangdong Province in China and member of Committee of Biomass Energy of China. From 2007, he serves academic periodicals of BioResources as one of co-editors and Journal of Bio-Based Materials and Bioenergy as one of editors. Dr. Lin is interested in research work of biomass bioenergy and high-value chemicals from lignocellulosics. As a primary investigator, he is now responsible for more than ten items of research projects competitively granted from Natural Science Foundation of China and Ministry of Science and Technology of China. He has published more than one hundred peer-review papers on various academic journals and is three prizes laureates awarded from Ministry Education of China for his active effects in advancing technologies of conversion of biomass to high-value chemicals, energy and materials.
