BancorpSouth Insurance Promotes Lensing to
Executive Vice President
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Apr 9, 2012 – BancorpSouth Insurance Services, Inc. has
promoted Ron Lensing to Executive Vice President and Corporate Sales Leader. He
previously served as executive vice president for BancorpSouth Insurance Services’
Arkansas region.
Based in Little Rock, Lensing will have an active role in establishing a corporate
sales structure, integrating the BancorpSouth Insurance Services sales platform
across the entire organization, supporting the regional presidents and sales
leaders, and developing new processes for recruiting, hiring and evaluating sales
team member performance.
Lensing has over thirty years of experience in the insurance industry, having held
sales and executive leadership positions with Independent Insurance Agents of
Arkansas and BancorpSouth Insurance Services.
Lensing holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from University of
Arkansas Little Rock. He is a former member of the Arkansas Air National Guard
and currently serves on the board of directors for Christopher Homes of Arkansas.
Lensing has been awarded the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas Allan
Kennedy Award and has served as president and national director for the
association. Lensing has also represented the Big I in efforts to amend Arkansas
state workers’ compensation laws preventing the take over of the private market
by a state fund.
