Work to a suitable proportion and add any decoration/illustration you feel appropriate. There is no limit on the number of colours to be used. 2 Design a poster to advertise the following performance. You must include the following words: MAGIC AND ILLUSION CIVIC THEATRE 19 Jan 2011 You may include any decoration/illustration you feel appropriate. 3 Design the logo for a new mobile phone company. Invent a name and show, in colour, how your design would look on a company delivery truck and, on a smaller scale, on a carrier bag. 4 Design a repeat pattern to be used as wrapping paper for a jewellery boutique. There is no limit on the number of colours to be used. 5 Using a calligraphic script with which you are familiar, write out all or part of the following poem. The Mississippi River The Mississippi River is difficult to spell And very hard to swim in As it’s very long as well. In the Mississippi River, plants and fish do dwell All blissfully unaware That their home is hard to spell. You may add any decoration/illustration you feel appropriate. 6 Design the cardboard container, including graphics, for one of a range of collectable dolls which have been designed to show off different costumes.
