FOREIGN VISITS : (i) Visited U.K. (1998-99) : Worked with the Band Theory Group of Dr. Paul Durham at Daresbury Laboratory, Daresbury, Warrington Chesire (U.K.). This visit was concerned with the development and application of a computer code developed at Daresbury for photoemission calculations from Cu (100), (110) and (111) surfaces by using the Density Functional Theory. Visit was sponsored by Royal Society, London (U.K.) and Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi. (ii) Visited Iran (2004-5) : Worked with the Condensed Matter Theory Group of Prof. Hadi Akbarzadeh, at I.C.T.P. Affiliated Centre, Physics Department, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, under the programme sponsored by International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Trieste, Italy) during November 04-January 2005. The visit was involved with the calculations of atomic potentials by using the WIEN2k code and its application to photoemission calculations from metals. (iii) Visited Iran (2008-9) Worked with the Condensed Matter Theory Group of Prof. Hadi Akbarzadeh, at I.C.T.P. Affiliated Centre, Physics Department, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, under the programme sponsored by International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Trieste, Italy) during December 2008-Jan 09.
