Why Do Metal Roofs Fail?
Changing weather and environmental conditions,
aging, and temperature swings take a toll on any
roof system, but are extremely damaging to metal
roofs. The best way to ensure a long-lasting, leak-free
metal roof is with preventive maintenance, including
a waterproofing liquid-applied membrane.
TOPCOAT® Premium Membrane Systems help prevent
the ravages of UV degradation while sealing joints
and seams that expand and contract during
the normal thermal cycling of a metal roof. Installing
a liquid-applied flexible flashing material that
adapts to the shock of thermal cycling helps prevent
deterioration at vulnerable areas.
