Build a team concensus on SHARED team values – all team members must agree to act for the team benefit even if individuals do not feel that value fits him or her personal beliefs. c. Examples: Accurate and precise work, promptness to meetings, etc. 4. Set Team Norms a. Establish guidelines on how members will treat each other. b. Determine how to resolve team conflicts. c. Process: Brainstorm (no idea is bad), evaluate each suggested norm, identify key norms everyone can embrace. d. Compromise WILL be necessary! 5.
